Winter Festival – Southbank Centre, London

The Southbank Centre in London are offering some great entertainment for the Christmas 2015 period. With an assortment of musical and fundraising events, there is almost certainly something for everyone. For the charitable, there is a charity weekend across 12th + 13th December and for the active there is a Roller Disco between 20th November and 17th January. Certainly not to be missed!

Elf the Musical – Dominion Theatre, London

Whether you are a theatre lover or a big fan of the film, Elf hitting the West End stage has caused huge excitement and is sure to be a highlight of the season. It tells the story of Buddy, an orphan who thinks he is an Elf and, after facing the truth, embarks on a trip to NYC in order to find his real father. Winter Wonderland – Hyde Park, London

A Christmas tradition, Winter Wonderland has inhabited Hyde Park for 8 years now and this year certainly wont disappoint. From 20th November through to 6th January, open between 10am and 10pm, this popular destination should definitely be on your Christmas bucket list. The organisers advise weekday visits in order to beat the crowds. If you really want to avoid any hassle, travelling in groups by coach is the way to get there – should you not have a sleigh or reindeer at your disposal…

Ice Skating across London
